Children's Aid

Nothing is as important as the safety of a child. When there are concerns about
whether a child's parents or caregivers are sufficiently able to care for them it is
important for a child protection agency to investigate if their protection is needed.

Children's Aid Society

Children's Aid Societies are legislated to have the authority to determine if a child is
unsafe in a particular environment and have the power to begin court applications
against the parents or caregivers.

When a child's safety is involved, it is important to be represented by an experienced
Family Law lawyer. The Crown protects children's rights, but parents and caregivers
must ensure they take proper measures to defend their own.
